I can't belive how long I've neglected this journal! Well I graduated from university, first class honours (thank you very much :) ) and my dissertation gained the highest mark in the year, well over 80%. After that, I got an interview at EA in Guildford with Bright Light studio - they were extremely impressed with me, but due to cutbacks the job position was retracted - otherwise I would be working there right now on the biggest film-to-game franchise! University is done with! Graduating on 8th July, pretty definate on a 2:1, although a first is deifnately what I'm aiming and hoping for (alright, so its what I should get - but I don't want to say that then not get it)! Job hunt starts now. But yet again, the enigma of "experience" pops its ugly rear-end up. I've applied for a few jobs, all citing that I basically don't have enough "experience". Just finishing off my dissertation! Some 88 pages so far, probably about 100 by the time its done, then some Maya animation and a technical report and I'm just about for finishing university! Just uploaded my portfolio, somewhere to host it as I'm too poor to get my own domain.
